Good Sign for Wonders of Life?

In the mail today, we received a packet from Disney World with maps and stuff to see and do in Disney World. In the packet, it gives one great ride for each park. Guess what Epcot has... No, not Test Track, Soarin', or even Mission: Space. It shows Body Wars. Not sure what it means, but it's good to see nonetheless.

This also makes me ask, will WoL even be open May 21-25?

Bodywars is the ONLY ride I won't go on at WDW. First and last time was the first time my wife and I went. The heart/lung area is killer. Love Star Wars and absolutely love Mission Space. Bodywars.....oh bad things.

Wonders of Life is bad, it really needs to be replaced. Body Wars is a cutting edge ride..........back in 1989! They should replace it with something more 21st Century.

I would like to see this too...very interesting that they would show off an old attraction when they have three new fan favorites right around it. Especially since that old attraction is closed for most of the year.

But apparently based on physical, modern evidence....

I will have to see it before I believe it. I still can't imagine that Disney would put an ad for Body Wars in a promotional item. With Soarin' having just opened and two of the most popular WDW attractions right there as well, I just don't see how that could be possible (unless you are working for marketing Grizz).

I don't think Vader is LYING... if he said he got promotion materials in the mail...

So I, too, am waiting for scans. . . .

Actually, Disney marketing has surprised me recently. Both for the negative and the positive.

That other thread was based on similar evidence. Also someone else in the thread based it on the videos (which just used old footage). So in many ways, the two threads are very similar.

I agree, however I don't think Wonders is "bad". It is based on the principles that all Disney attractions should follow. It is a place where the parents and the children can play together. However, it is really ghetto. On my last visit, the some of the letters on the sign don't really light up at night. It is a dated pavillion, but it shouldn't be replaced. It should be updated.

And if it is replaced, I would be extremely disappointed to see Pixar or a thrill ride take over...

Pixar does not belong, another thrill ride in this location wouldn't serve the families who cannot experience Wonders's neighbors......

Wow, didn't think it would cause so much controversey. To clear things up..

NO, the guide isn't out of date. It came in the mail today, along with a guidemap booklet that say NEW! Soarin' on the Land. To clarify, no, it is nto a guidemap. It is a promotinal booklet saying where we're staying, describing it, then showing a particular ride for each park that teens may enjoy (Sicne they obviously knwo there are 2 teens going).

NO, there is no mention of anything out of date. No Toad or anything.

NO, I am not lying, and I do not have a scan yet but I will in a bit, hopefully.

The only reason I made the topic is to tell you that this might be a good sign for WoL. So, in short, I will have scans in a few. ;)

Maybe it's Disney's efforts to give the pavillion its last "life" before they close it for good. Hoepfully not, but whatever happens the pavillion needs major help!
