Good news and bad news regarding my trip

Hello again friends.

So something has come up and my 10 year old will not be able to go for May (ugh) so we're going to go together in October. However, since the airfare I booked isn't refundable, I'm going to take a solo trip to Disney from May 5th-10th.

So bad news is my kid can't go in May with me, but good news is we're going in October so that would be two trips in one year for me!

Is that weird to go solo? especially dining? Sounds crazy but I don't want to be that creepy guy that sits by himself at a dining table in one of the park restaurants. Have any of you guys gone on solo trips? What was it like?

I actually have found that the waiters/ waitresses at the TS locations are more attentive to me as I am dining solo so they do check in with me to make sure I dont need anything.
I've had the same experience. CMs seemed to want to make sure I was comfortable dining alone and were super friendly and fun to chat with.
