Oh come on! Of course having:

1)2 sinks in your room as opposed to 1.....got to have 2 in case there is a mad dash and 1 hour queue for sink use.
2)Indoor or hallway entry to room instead of entering from those undesirable and unsightly resort grounds.....those same grounds that you just got finished taking pictures of.
3) 2 queen beds instead of unsleepable doubles
4)access to one single amazing water slide that gets 20 feet off the ground snaking around for a 6 second ride(makes one rethink ever stepping foot again at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon) in your shared pool.
5)sit down restaurants that are available to anyone--- resort guest or no resort guest.

(there's more compelling reasons but you get the picture.)
........ is worth the 5 to 7 times more than a Pop or All Star.

So I stayed at pop my first trip and cbr my second due to a heavy discount. The funny thing is, I would stay at pop again, even if cbr was discounted. Was my room nicer at CBR? heck yes. The grounds more beautiful? Yup! Washroom better overall? Definitely. But those damn busses...
I would stay at pop again because it still had everything I NEED. Is a waterslide nice to have? Absolutely and I used it a lot at cbr. But i don't NEED it. I have a bed to sleep in, a washroom, and a food court. I'm good. I'd rather save money for other more important things like buffet character dining (i'm looking at you Garden Grill). Plus, the busses at Pop were sooo great, it allowed for midday breaks no problem. CBR busses sucked. Both were great resorts, but I would happily stay at pop on my next trip!

I used to get "deals" for free dining all the time. I don't get them anymore. Do they still offer them?

They've consistently pared down the dining deals, requiring higher-priced rooms, more nights, and parkhopper tickets to be eligible, or only offering the counter-service package -- the current offer is not for "free dining" but for a discount (up to 500, I think) on a tix+room+dining package. The deals are there -- just smaller and harder-to-qualify-for than before.

I'm not following you about the buses....I mean transports,----the exact same transport is used all over WDW

How is Caribbean Beach bus different than any other one?

Even the drivers are the same throughout the entire property. Every shift the driver is assigned a route for that day.

The CBR resort has multiple islands within a loop that the bus stops at, if I recall it could be as many as 7 internal stops just within the CBR resort. itself

Were they targeted PIN codes? IE Call in and mention code ABE3R type deals? Or just the generic "Hey free dining is coming out for these dates, call and book today!" that are sent out to the general public. If they were targeted odds are you no longer are that target. May have been they were sending them to people who had traveled less than X number of times, or who were between the ages of Y and Z, or anything really. The PIN codes have always been a black box. Some people keep getting them, others never got them at all, and some will go stretches getting alot to periods of time with none.

I see, and that follows now that I think about this further since Caribbean Beach is the largest or second to largest WDW resort.
Hence, it gets it own gondola soon to offer some roadway congestion relief and create a perk for guests.......... who are destined to pay much bigger room rates than before once this project gets completed.
