Hi all, just back from my 20th trip to Orlando and WDW....

We had some fantastic experiences with CMs which I wanted to pass on and also one bad one. Where/who do I write to to make sure the CMs get the praise and or training they deserve?

No they will likely never see it. That is just for people that visit these boards. I believe you can contact Disney Guest Services at this number: 407-824-4321
If that is not the correct number for CM praise/complaints I'm sure they can direct you to the correct channels.

Last time I was in the MK, there was a guy in there who did the sweeping of trash. He was running around, spotting trash and calling out, "Mine! Mine!" and sweeping it up. He'd pause and say, "Mine, mine, mine!" to random kids, who would giggle.

Not only did I notice that he was sweeping up a lot more trash than the slow-pokes, he was making people (like me) just a little bit happier.

I was tired and wanted to leave and he was moving around so fast trying to get all the trash that I didn't make the effort to get his name and go say, "What a great job this guy is doing!" But it was the first time I wanted to!

I bet he also enjoyed his job more that way. :)

Good for him!!!

I have had so many good and so many bad experiences. My mom told me on my first trip to Disney when I was 1and 1/2 and it was my bro's 4th birthday we didn't know about making dinner reservations. This lady wouldn't help us to get any reservations at any other restaurant and she kept saying "Hey, all we have is a 9:30 pm reservation I don't care how old your kids are!".......or something along those lines. I hope you had a good 20th trip. My trip in June is gonna be my 25th.

Too many people complain and not enough praise! If we all want to see better service, try a compliment when it is deserved. Not only will it make the CM smile but it will like effect every other guest they encounter positively. Thanks for the thread!
