Golden Oak Outpost cuts menu to just chicken nuggets and fries

Having seen some INSANE lines and waited absurdly long times just for something simple like a drink from that location, it kinda makes sense to cut down the menu. They just never seemed to have the resources/skill to be quick enough to keep up with their menu and customers.

Plus with it being literally next door to Pecos Bills, I imagine the thought was if you wanted a meal, you could just go there. (Though different food offerings in Pecos of course.)

Very disappointing development

For the vegetarian folk out there, Golden Oak offered a very nice veggie flatbread, which we enjoyed greatly, and for which there is no equivalent at Pecos Bill's. Really sorry to see one more unique vegetarian offering disappear.:(

I saw that change recently, and the location was closed. I believe the idea behind it now is to just open it during the peak times so people can grab a fast lunch and be on their way. It would be nice if this caused one of the seasonal Quick Serve location like Tortuga to be open a little bit more often, but I know that is probably some very wishful thinking.

Just what the Magic Kingdom needs...another shuttered food location.

I don't know why they would close it during non-peak times, especially considering the fact they put some serious capital into expanding the place.
