yeah, I think it was 9.50 here too, or maybe 9.75. Around there.

I agree with the quality of the ears, they are see through, and arent round like the black ones.

And I think the reason that MGM charges for the stitching there is because thay are custom colors and fonts as opposed to MK where they are single color and single stitch.

I was so happy to get my ears! They came in July 5th (thanks to someone on the boards who posted the date!) Just so everyone knows, the CM at the hat shop told us that this week (July 11th) the price of the gold ears is going up, but she didn't tell us how much.

Yes I was so happy to get mine this past week :D

However, I am very disappointed to announce this but as of Friday, July 8 - MK IS SOLD OUT OF GOLDEN MOUSE EARS!!! I had people jumping on me asking where I got mine b/c they had been trying to get them at MK and the CM's there are telling people they will not get in stock now until August!! I was so shocked but I was told this by 3 different families on Friday!!

So definately check the resorts they still had them as far as I could tell :D

As I mentioned earlier....

There were TONS of the Golden Ears at MGM, EPCOT, and Downtown Disney early in the week, but we never did see them at The Magic Kingdom.

Very strange indeed. Should have worked with a manufacturer who could meet the demand.....

I just returned from WDW last night and can confirm that there are indeed gold ears available. It looks to me like the best place to get them is at Downtown Disney at the Character Shop. (World of Disney).

I'm going in October and if there is one thing I am buying it's a pair of golden ears. Yes, I am a 16 year old guy, but I have no shame. My main purpose in going to WDW is to embarass myself, get a few laughs, and enjoy myself. That's what Disney is all about.

As of a few days ago (I can't remember the exact date), all of Disney/MGM Studios is out of the golden ears! So I guess they are running out quickly again?

We were ther at the end of june begining of july and knew b4 our trip that the ears were not in stock at the world. With this known I still checked every couple days and always got diffrent answers. At MGM I was told to come back July1, Mk was told everything from mid July to "I havent heard of any gold ears". Finally on the night of July 3rd I noticed mare than the usual 1 or 2 ppl wearing their ears. I went to the Chapeau around 11pm and much to my suprise.....Tons of gold ears....but adult sizes only. I really wanted a pair for my 5 year old but one day he will grow into em. The Emporium also had a pile of em and there were long lines at both places.

Why do I just have this feeling that by the time I get to the parks next week (...week of the 17th...) they're going to be sold out completely again? Either that, or they'll only have the kids ones in stock. Yeah. That would be my luck.

I was wondering that myself. I've only owned two pairs of Mickey ears and both were gifts, so I have no idea. I'd wager somewhere between $6-$12?
