Going to WDW after Easter???

I was just wondering if any of you have been to Disney after Easter. I'm thinking of taking the wife on a surprise trip from April 27-30th. Any thoughts???

My first thought is... Aw! How sweet of you I have been down after Easter on several occasions and found that the crowds aren't too bad. I will actually be there from April 23-27, 2006.

The crowds fall off on the Monday after Easter . We tried checking in one year and everybody was busy with chekouts!

Even if the spring breakers are still around it won't be too bad. Enjoy your trip! :wave:

We will be there April 22 - 29, 2006. I hpoe the crowds aren't bad. We were there March 25 and were suprised at the MK crowd.

we purposely scheduled our trip AFTER our son's school vacation to avoid crowds. everything i hear about that week sounds good.

What a great surprise! Don't even think - just book it! She'll love it and it's a great time to go (weather and crowd-wise).

I'll be there 4/16!! Too exciting. We just watched "WDW -- Behind the Scenes" on the Travel Channel last night!!!

We go every year after Easter and the crowds are not bad at all. We will be there 4-21 - 4-30. We do expect Animal Kingdom to be alot busier for some reason. Who knows but if I had to bet the farm on it, you will not want to be around AK.

I'll be going over on Easter Sunday with my bf's family. I hate to go on Easter Sunday bc I'm afraid its going to be really crowded but it just worked out that way. We'll be doing some park hopping to Epcot, AK and MGM to hit alot of the more popular rides so hopefully we'll be able to get alot in. I've done it before with those three parks with a all day deal from opening to closing and got alot done but I'm afraid the crowds will slow us down alot.

Has anyone been there on Easter Sunday? How bad are the crowds?

Two years ago we were at the MK on Easter Sunday and the crowds were pretty bad. But I have always gone down around that time, if not on that weekend, so it always seems crowded. Last year we were at Epcot on Easter Sunday. It was a very hot day and the crowds were pretty bad. We ended up doing the few things we wanted and got fastpasses for others and went back to the room to swim and came back later to do the fastpass. For our plans, it worked out pretty well. But it is crowded.

I've gone to wdw 2 different years on easter and boy oh boy was it crowded. Let's just say if you have no patience, or with someone with no patience try going another time. Like me know Im going after easter to see if it will be better.

We'll be there on 4/12-4/21. Hopefully the Monday after Easter and that whole week it won't be crowded. Can't wait. Only 6 more days to go, actually 5 1/2.:sohappy:

Thanks guys but it doesn't matter. we can't go. I tried to book a room through Pam, AAA and WDW and they are pretty well booked up solid. They tried to sell me concierge suites at AKL and Yacht Club....
