Going to Disney with a broken arm . . . are there any rides off limits?

I have a friend who is taking her son to Disney for his first visit ever and he just broke his arm. He has a waterproof cast. Are there any rides that he can't get on due to a cast/broken arm?

Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks.

As long as it doesn't interfere with the restraints he can do it. How tall are ther and what kind of cast half are or full arm?

He's tall enough to ride all of the rides, but I told her that the restraints on RNR and SM would interfere with the cast.
It's full arm.

SM shouldn't interfere with the cast. It's just a lap bar. RnR is the only one with a restraint that goes over the shoulders.

Also as always with any medical condition, they should check with their doctor as there are somethings that might preclude rides they may not think of. Marie

Any ride that is jerky or feels like you are blasting off might not be a good idea. Mission Space was the first ride that came to mind.

Stitch also has a restraint that goes over the shoulders. It is not recommended for anyone in a cast, anyone who has ever been in a cast, anyone who has seen someone else in a cast, or anyone who knows how to spell the word cast. Or anyone else. Ever.

In fact people have actually broken their arms in order to not go there.

RnRc is an over-the-head U-shaped thing, but also shouldn't be a problem. My brother broke his arm when we were kids and he rode those kind of coasters with his broken arm, as well as all other manner of rides.

The only thing I'd do, remembering riding with my brother, lol, is put the broken arm on the side where the person with you doesn't have it whomping on them on a more wild ride. We learned that pretty quickly. Luckily, Disney doesn't have many. Big Thunder is the only one I can think of where it would be even a small issue.
