hi all

well after months of planning i am actually flying out to orlando from Gatwick on saturday morning

is anyone off then too?

i've been checking out the weather and been getting mixed forecasts:

We saw similar reports in July, but the weather was great. Typical downpours then sunshine that Orlnado gets alot.

I wouldn't worry too much.

We're driving this weekend from East Tennessee, with arrival on Sunday.

In Florida the weather is pretty much the same regardless of the forecast. Partly cloudy with good chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening. Don't let the chance of rain discourage you. It's always there -- just a matter of how early it starts and how long it lasts. It's rare to have a day with no sunshine.

Looks like it will be a few degrees warmer than usual for the first week of fall this year. We plan on doing a lot of swimming.

The only thing to watch for is tropical storms and depressions. They can make it gray and wet for long periods of time.
