Going out on a limb...

I am also a very picky eater and live with a child who has a diet composed of Cheerios and chicken strips. Last fall, because of free dining and all the reviews I read, we ventured to bomas for dinner. By far, it was my family's favorite meal of the trip! The variety was incredible, desserts were great and the Cheerios eater even tried and liked new things.
On the flip side, we went to prime time which I thought was safe and had a horrible meal. Our server was great but food was absolutely terrible.

Can you get to DTD? Raglan Road is one of my favs. From the bread they bring, to the huge dish of calamari, to all of the amazing Irish entrees. Lunch is easy to dine, but dinner gets harder with the entertainment.

I'm not sure if we'll get to DD or not this trip. I'd like to, especially because my friend has never been there. If we make it over that way, Raglan Road is a definite contender for our meal. :)

It's all about the pulled pork and coleslaw hot dog at Caseys!!! :hungry:

Also, not sure if you are on the dining plan or not, but at Caseys, you can get a huge bag of cotton candy as your "dessert" which is a great value!

Oh my gosh, that sounds amazing!!! I may have to go with that for my first experience at Casey's. We're not on the dining plan, but cotton candy is always yummy.

I want to try Boma soooo badly! I've read so many positive reviews on it, so I'm hoping to get there one of these trips. I've heard that 50s Prime Time is really hit or miss.. that seems to be the case with many Disney restaruants.

Another vote for Boma. You have the chance to try SO MANY new things but there are plenty of "safe" options at both breakfast and dinner just in case.

Does anybody have cupcake suggestions? I know there are plenty of cupcake challenges floating around out there, but I probably won't do that this trip since we have several ADR's scheduled. Also, my friend is looking forward to snacking around the world, so cupcakes would put a bit of a damper on that. ;) So anyhow, are there any must-try cupcakes at any of the parks that I should be looking for?

If you are at DHS during Star Wars weekends (not just on the weekends but anytime during the week) try the Darth Vader cupcake (chocolate/peanut butter combo). The Butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls is yummy too.

Oh the Darth Vader cupcake is right up my alley! I'm not a huge fan of Butterfingers.. just because I hate it sticking to my teeth.

So my trip is only 6 days away.. woohoo! :D

Looking for any last minute food, snack, cupcake, drink, etc. suggestions! Thank you to all who have commented already with your favorites. I'm currently putting together a list to carry with me in the parks so I don't forget all of the things that I'm considering trying. :)
