Going for a Moderate after several visits to a Value?

We have stayed at moderates and while we enjoyed them we prefer the values. Why would I want to spend the extra $600 for our trip to stay in a room that we only sleep in? I wouldn't. If the values were dirty, unkempt, worn down, too small, or the staff unfriendly then I would consider the moderates but in our opinion they aren't. We have only ever had good experiences at the values.

We have stayed at the Swan and Dolphin. I would consider them a step up from the moderates, especially if you can obtain them at a good price or use SPG points.

I'd say they are a big step up from the moderate. Definitely deluxe level but often found for moderate prices. We are but fans of the two of not staying in a DVC room.
