Going Dec 3-6 during Pop Warner Week - Should we avoid PO Riverside?

A co-worker and I are possibly heading to Orlando for a class near WDW the week of Dec 3. We were looking to stay at Port Orleons Riverside but I seem to remember that the cheerleaders for the cheerleading competition also stay there. They tend to be a rowdy crowd so should we avoid POR during that week? Has anyone been at POR during Pop Warner week and report on how it was?

I’ve stayed at PORS twice during Pop Warner Week. Never had a problem and rather
enjoyed the Christmas decorations some put up in their room windows. I did avoid the
Ol’ Man Island pool for less crowded pools in the Mansion area. The Food Court wasn’t crowded in the morning, but I do get up early.

Many of them are. Lately they have also given them the option of staying at a moderate as well.

Personally, I have been down there during Pop Warner and didn't notice it that much. The coaches and players do all have to sign a code of conduct, and if you complain to Pop, they can be sent home immediately.

If you find it a problem when your there just let them know at the desk and they will move you or even upgrade you to a different resort no charge!
