Another Disney Cinderella team beats back the nay-sayers and we are heading to the Stanly Cups!

Man, Tink sure is working overtime on our Anaheim teams. (Notice, she igniored the Lakers and see where that got them.)

The Angels won and Disney sold them. Now the Mighty Ducks might win and Disney is looking to sell them. Sports teams really must be a bad investment.

When did they play bad? They have always been in playoff contention in the west since their inception. That would be the 5 or 6 seed in the east every year. They got by the Wild...but that is nothing compared to NJ or Ottawa.

They haven't gone anywhere in the playoffs. Now they decide to do spectacular in their games and almost sweep series. The situation applies more to the Anaheim Angels then to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

The Ducks didn't start the season out too well. I had a friend tell his GF he'd marry her if the Ducks win the Stanley cup thinking there was no way they'd make it.

He is 4 wins away now. LOL

I don't remember which of the Major League movies it was...

but maybe in the Mighty Ducks locker room they're undressing a pic of Eisner's Wife piece by piece...

just a thought

It was the first one.
But they weren't undressing Eisner's wife, it was Michael Eisner and Paul Pressler  :hammer:

NJ and Ottawa are going to be so battered after tonight's game... so who knows. Anaheim is just proving to be more than a long shot...
It's funny... people are actually hoping for an Anaheim/Ottawa series because for some reason they think they can take them out easily.
Me? I'd love to see Anaheim/NJ because for some reason I feel that would be a really physical series... NJ is mainly defense. Plus I'd love to see the two brothers play against each other :goodnevil

No - Go Mighty Ducks!

Have you seen the 'ducks marriage couple' yet. They have been on TV twice (Rogan on Sunday and Fox News Tuesday.) They have now had several radio spots, even with the commissioner of the NHL. The have appeared in the LA Times and the OC Register is calling. Even Good Morning America is trying for them.

The deal is if the Ducks win, the guy will marry his long time gal. It started as a friendly bet (which is something they do all the time.) The bet happened just after the Ducks made the playoffs. The media is now going crazy.

Why do I mention this - the gal is my assistant! This whole thing has given us a new meaning to root on the Ducks!
