i love mine to much right now to do anything. i have the 98 model with the tire on the back and not underneath. rare, only seen one other in bham. pretty loaded except leather.mkt said:The Monty is gone.... replaced with a Toyota Highlander Limited V6 AWD (silly people who paid for a Lexus RX)
well, that makes me feel better, i cant seem to get that damn thing to align correctly. it pulls to the right as well. oh well, at least i have 31x10.50 with the tread 2 inches deep so the "uneven wear" wont matter for awhile.mkt said:the engine and electrical were all sound, but the transmission was just short of dead, and it pulled majorly to the right.
Gotcha.mkt said:oh, Mike. Hotel is reserved, Crowne Plaza Atlanta - Buckhead

ok, i swear last question about your monty, but it seems weird that mine (98 model, 90K) burns that crap out of some oil. i put 2 quarts in between oil changes, but i go 4,500 miles between changes.mkt said:no... the manual transmission Montero Sports have a history of clutch/transmission problems. The suspension issues were due to my car accident in 2002, when I got hit from behind. It was never properly repaired. All my driving style caused was horrid gas mileage and a lot of engine wear. Yet the engine was fine.
ahhhh, the expensive stuff. i think i may try that.mkt said:mine had no problem with burning oil, and I'd go about 6k between oil changes on Mobil 1 Synthetic

i know, iknow, anything having to do with car i always feel like people are always hiding something, but props to you for being honest, it is the only way to fly.mkt said:And for Carfax, I don't trust it one bit, you shouldn't either. I know the damage to the Monty, yet it showed it as a clean vehicle on Carfax. I was honest and told the buyer about the accident/damage.
