Alright guys my trip is in a short 11 days :D. Last time I went to Disney, I knew I was lactose intolerant and had no trouble taking medicine and enjoying my normal Disney treats. Two days ago I was told by my doctor to do a gluten free diet. Coming from someone who eats sandwiches for lunch multiple times a week this has been a little challenging. With my upcoming trip, and only having one ADR booked, I am looking for some quick service gluten free options around the parks.

Columbia Harbour house has grilled fish, chicken salad or allergy friendly chicken nuggets. Make sure you tell them you need gluten free when you order.

Wherever you go on Disney property, they should be able to accommodate you. I am GF and have multi-allergies and have never had a problem. Just tell them at the register when you go into order and they will give you an allergy-friendly menu, if you have more extensive allergies they will let you talk to a supervisor who can work something out with you. :) Have fun!

email guest services special diet team they can send you a list of gluten free offerings. We have been gluten free for the last 4 years. Disney has special menu's in almost all locations. Just tell the server or Cast member that you have a food allergy and the will call someone for you. this is a link that they sent us. http://wdw.wdpromedia.com/media/kana/sd/WDW-GlutenFriendly.pdf
Thank you! I will be emailing them this afternoon!

My wife has celiac disease and has had to deal with this on dozens of trips over the last few years. Disney really does an incredible job at accommodation for her allergy with little to no issue. As is usually the case, the experience for any particular meal can have a lot to do with the particular day and location. Some places that we have really enjoyed over the past few trips that we found did a great job

Table Service
-Liberty Tree Tavern
-California Grill
-Waves (contemporary)
-O'hana
-Chef Mickey's
-Garden Grill at the Land

Counter Service
-Cosmic Ray's
-Flame Tree BBQ
-Season's Grill at the Land pavillion
-American Adventure Pavilion at Epcot
-Shop at the Beach Club Resort outside of Epcot has a lot of wonderful desserts
-NYC Bakery at Disney Springs is completely vegan, and probably some of the best allergy friendly tasting deserts we have encountered (including me who has no allergy)

I hope this helps, I know a lot of things can depend on personal tastes and things like that. These are just some of the places that we founds offered a great selection and almost zero hassle. Good luck and hope you enjoy your trip :)

^^^^^ This every cs place to eat has a allergy menu &/or a book with complete ingredient lists. Don't worry if special diets doesn't get back to you because every place qs or ts can now handle gf/df quite easily. You can even get qs pizza not that I's suggest it LOL I'm gf/df/vegan and never had problems finding something to eat. If time allows and you can book Sanna do so because the have a bread service that can't be beat and allergy safe:hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry: Fell free to pm me with questions about any place you're thinking about going

If you are only looking to do GF and avoid lactose, special dining probably won't get involved. They usually try to only handle guests with 4 or 5 allergies. Check out this site -> http://www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com/ to see some of the options you can find.

As mentioned, every CS location has a binder with full ingredient listings, if in doubt, ask to see it or speak with a manager when ordering. And at TS locations they should either have a specific menu that details what dishes are allergy friendly, or will have the chef come out to discuss options with you.

My DM is celiac, and hasn't had a problem finding food at WDW. I think the biggest surprise thing to watch out for is fries. Depending on your sensitivity you may not have problems, but many places don't have the space for a dedicated GF fryer, so the oil may be cross contaminated with the breading for nuggets and the like.

Although I havent been to WDW or DL in just over 2 years, the GF dining experiences we had while there were always very good. In fact, its one of the easiest accommodations for them to make! Many menu items are GF as is, and most can be made GF with minor changes. My wife has had GF fried chicken, calamari, cakes, cookies, and so many other great things in Disney. No need to worry. Just make a note on your ADRs stating GF and the hostess and server will be aware from the start. Have a great time eating!!!!!
