I tried to tell him to send it back, but he didn't want to make the rest of us wait around for him. And, after all the trickery I had to employ to get my kids there (they were scared), nothing. And that's fine. There are so many more places to try, that I'm not sweating it.Really? It actually surprises me that the chicken wasn't cooked because normally it's fantastic, definitely better than KFC. Next time say that you want to speak to a manager. They'll bring you new food and most likely will take it off your bill and offer you special Fantasmic seating. There's no excuse for that. None. I'm really surprised about the waiters. You'll usually get at least one who's into it, though you should purposely break the rules too.
Ah. I've felt that way about making my group wait around. I had one time at Kouzzina's for breakfast where I accidentally got served nuts even though I'm allergic, and I had to send it back, and my parents just kept telling me to relax, but I felt like I was keeping them. Then they brought the nutless version and it was cooked wrong (it was pancakes and the batter wasn't cooked all the way through). I was about in tears by the end of that fiasco because I was so hungry and hated making my group wait around for me (that and I have emotional issues because of my health, kind of like "Why does it have to be me? Why can't I eat normally like everyone else? This sucks so much!"). But I physically couldn't eat the food, so I had to make my group wait. Great experience with how wonderful Cast Members can be: they gave me an extra breakfast bar that was nut free to take with me, they took my meal completely off and took 50% off of the bill, and then, when I got back to my room, I found a fruit basket there with a set of pins on a cut-out paper heart. And there was a hand-written note with my name on it that said, "We're so sorry that your morning was so terrible! We hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation. Signed, the staff at Kouzzina's." And then a bunch of them signed their names. So not only did they bother to look up my name in the system and where I was staying and my room number, but they bothered to look up what foods I said I was allergic to and left them out of the fruit basket. It was so wonderful, and I still have the note and the pins are still attached to the heart. I was hoping to see the waitress again when I went there a second time (yes even after that fiasco, we still eat there and they seem to have fixed their menu) so I could thank her, but she must have been relocated (I didn't go back for a year).I tried to tell him to send it back, but he didn't want to make the rest of us wait around for him. Even if he finishes it, you could still complain and they might do something. If there's a problem, the kitchen should know about it so that other guests don't have this problem.
I can understand about your kids. It's intimidating for some guests. Personally, I'm a jokester, so I try to get in trouble and that's part of the fun, but I can understand how kids might take it too seriously.
As it should be in the place where dreams come trueI love warm fuzzy stories!I can't believe they messed up pancakes the second time, but a happy ending.
