    The protagonist of Atlas Shrugged is name John Galt, a train tycoon. He spends a LARGE portion of the very lengthy book talking about his business and how that's a philosophy for life, or something.

    Actually, John Galt has nothing to do with the trains. John Galt is missing, and has left behind evidence that he invented a highly efficent mortor.

    Dagny Taggart - who is the woman who own the railroad, is looking for him.

    Of course the novel is lot deeper, and more complicated than that,. (and long, very very very long)
