First, Peter's an orphan raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Second, he didn't get Spider-Powers until high school. Such poor research for a joke that's not terribly funny to begin with.

They DO own Spider-Man. They do not have full ownership of the movie rights.

Yes, they're also now partnering with Sony to make the movies. The Ultimate Spiderman TV show is made by Disney, as well as any comics.
