I'll have to be the exception to the rule here. Disney and Marvel basically dominated my childhood (and adulthood). However, I was more into X-Men and Spider-Man than the Avengers books (even though I would read those some, as well).

I'll have to be the exception to the rule here. Disney and Marvel basically dominated my childhood (and adulthood). However, I was more into X-Men and Spider-Man than the Avengers books (even though I would read those some, as well).

See, now, I LOVED the Avengers characters and was a little cooler towards X-Men & Spidey. I also collected quite a bit of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Master Edition (the loose leaf one that you could put in a binder) so I was exposed to and fell in love with a lot of the obscure characters, so I squealed like a little girl when I heard we were getting Guardians of the Galaxy featuring Rocket Raccoon. God help us all if they ever do a New Warriors movie.

Can't be too hard on her for that mistake, considering it was a Grandma who did it. I can just imagine seeing that in a church somewhere.
