The first Resident Evil wasn't bad. Not a GREAT movie by any stretch, but compared to other video game movies it's practically Citizen Kane.

The first Mortal Kombat was pretty good, too.

Except for the awkward CGI mess that was pre-human Reptile.

Seriously, they could have come up with a really decent rod puppet for what they paid to animated paint-lizard up there. It might not have looked GREAT....but at least it wouldn't have been a glorified paint splotch.
