The first Resident Evil wasn't bad. Not a GREAT movie by any stretch, but compared to other video game movies it's practically Citizen Kane.

Wait til the two Naughty Dog games (Uncharted and The Last of Us) and, potentially, Duncan Jones's Warcraft film. Those have the best shows at being the first legitimately great video game films.
