Give Me A Restaurant I'm Missing

I'd particularly like a restaurant within the parks or at one of the major Disney hotels and is NOT a Signature dining (requiring 2 table services). I have a dining plan and would like to use it efficiently. I know California Grill is particularly good, I've actually been.

We love to eat at the following places:

  • Ohana
  • Crystal Palace (have to do 1 character and we like this one)
  • 50s Prime Time
  • Mama Melrose
  • Liberty Tree Tavern (Gotta love Pilgrim's Feast)
  • Teppan Edo
  • Sanaa

I like Rose&Crown and Chefs de France (at dinner only) in Epcot. I'm not sure what you consider a "major" hotel but Captain's Grille in the Yacht Club, Kona in Polynesian, and The Wave in the Contemporary are all really good.
(I've never had a dining plan but I'm fairly certain none of these use 2 dining credits.)

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Our fave 1 credits is:

Raglan Road
Turf Club
50's
'Ohana
Mama Melrose
Via Napoli
Sanaa
Boma
Tokyo Dining
Sci-Fi
Splitsville
Kona Cafe (breakfast)
Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch regular menu and Ooey gooey toffee cake)
BOG

Also I know you are trying to avoid signatures but even on the dining plan we still love these and do several of them each trip as well:

Cali Grill
Le Cellier
Jiko
Artist point
Hoop Dee Doo
Hollywood Brown Derby

Kona Cafe breakfast.
(Dinner is good too, but the macadamia pineapple pancakes are my fave)

Restaurant Marrakesh.
Love everything about it. Then again, Morocco is my favorite country in Epcot. Tangerine Cafe is my fave quick service.

Thanks for your input guys. I've probably been everywhere at one time, but sometimes we get stuck in old habits! I love Via Napoli and will add it to this trip.

I've decided to NOT do the dining plan because I did the math down to the penny and it's not a good deal. It's at least $190 more expensive to choose dining plan versus just paying out of pocket for our current reservations.

Plus, I think you gain some flexibility and relieve some "pressure" to use all the allotments efficiently. We are going to do California Grill as well since you don't have to worry about using 2 of your table service meals.

All excellent suggestions. If you want a great meal and a great time, I'd pick Raglan Road.

The Biergarten is my favorite at Epcot World Showcase, but just a short distance is a gem of a dining experience at the Cape May Cafe Clam Bake. It is not only Seafood, but many other selections as well.
