I know this campaign is over.

If you had already booked a trip and had paid for length of stay hopper passes...you don't need the free admitance ticket. So did they offer anything else in place of the free ticket? Say fast passes or some other thing for your effort?

Just wondering...

You might be able to get the cost of one of those days back, but if you have a 5+ day PH it will only be about $3 per ticket.

I'd encourage you to donate your tickets. That was the option I planned to take but they ended the program before I could find a nice outdoor cleanup event or something similar to participate in.

There are three other options available to you--Fastpasses good for immediate entry into six attractions, a special commemorative merchandise item or donating the ticket to Boys and Girls club.

Are you asking hypothetically, or did you participate in the Give-A-Day program and are asking about your specific options?

Either way, Captain Hank is correct about the 3 alternate options. The alternate perks for this offer were not quite what they were when they were giving away free admission on your birthday.

If you booked your trip, and also registered and completed your volunteer day before the program ended, you should still be eligible for one of the alternate options. If you never registered, or never signed up for an actual volunteer event, you aren't eligible for any of the options.

Nope, didn't do it and had no plans to...

Just wondering why the campaign ended as quickly as it did. Figured there must have been something else offered to participants. I've not seen a lot of TV commercials for the GADGAD campaign.

Thanks for the info and congrats to the folks who participated.

Their goal was, literally, 1 million free tickets. They hit it faster than anyone imagined. And when they did, it was over.

Disney did their part, in my opinion, in getting Americans off their butts to help a charity. Hopefully the momentum of promos like this will keep the drive going.
