I know this isn't WDW related really, but I just found out that there is a Giordano's pizza at 12151 S. APOPKA VINELAND RD in Lake Buena Vista, FL. I've wanted to eat at this place again ever since I visited Chicago. Has anybody eaten at this location near Disney and is it pretty good? Also, does anyone know the easiest way to get there? I'm not familiar with getting around the area that well.

Ah.... I miss Chicago...

Sorry haven't been to the one in FL - I just wanted to ditto the positive comments on Giordano's. The spinach salad is amazing too.

If my memory serves me correctly, it is in the same outlet stores area behind Golden Corral (or was it Sizzler...) Anyways, it has a nice atmosphere and the food is good, but it can take a long time to get your pizza.

 I didn't know there was one down there! I'll have to try and find it when we're there in May...maybe it'll help w/ my Chicago homesickness. :)

Giordano's is my favorite pizza. We eat at that one on 192 every trip. It is always great, even better than in Chicago but it can take a long time to get your pizza. They are crowded a lot. Go early in the day and it is not so bad. To get there, take World Drive headed off property and go right on 192. It is a few miles down on the left. You won't miss it. Enjoy.

If it is the one I'm thinking of it's closed. It is a Mexican Restaurant now. IT was between a Steak and Shake and New York China Buffet.
Oops , nevermind I just called the number they are still there must have been another Italian restaurant .

I've been to that Giardano's twice. Going away from I-4 on 535, it's on the right past the crossroads and past the light for Palm Parkway. It's back from the road in the middle of a shopping center.

The food is amazing, the pizza especially. The service not so good. It can get very crowded during meal times.

The pizza, for me at least, is worth the wait.

Yes, it is in a shopping plaza on 535 right past Palm Parkway. It's is right behind a Sizzler and next to a Tony Romas. We eat there every once in awhile when we are down there. Make sure you pick up one of those tourist coupon books that are available everywhere, there is always a coupon in there for Giordano's for like 20% off of your bill.

I could be very very wrong on this, so feel free to correct me. But I remember reading somewhere that Giordano's delivers to some of the WDW hotels. I think it's either POP/All-Star or the ones near Downtown Disney. It might be worth looking in to.

IF you are talking about the Italian place off 535 next to the Steak N' Shake then unfortunately it has closed and is now a Mexican place.

Sorry to bring the bad news, but I was there just yesterday and I kinda thought something was odd about the missing Italian place.

As a Chicago-ian, I have to say that Giordano's stuffed pizza is THE BEST

Yeah, anybody who is interested, Giordano will ship their pizzas anywhere, you just have to continue heat it in the oven when you get it. I've never had one like that, but its worth a try. On Valentine's Day, they do heart shaped pizzas.

If the quality is up to that of the Chicago locations, then it should be far and away the best pizza in the area. Nothing beats a great stuffed, or deep dish pizza. Giordano's was always my second favorite place when I lived in Chicago. Lou Malnati's is definitely the best, IMO.

Having moved from Chicago down to Central Florida, I can say that this Giordano's is exactly like what they have up North. For those that live nearby, you can call them up and order a partial bake pizza and finish it at home.
