I was at wilderness lodge the other night and the decorations weren't up yet...does anyone know when they will be up? Also, we have a character breakfast at the Grand floridian Sunday and was wondering if they were up yet...thx

If nobody can answer - I would suggest calling GF directly. A few years back when I went, it was being constructed around 11/15 and it took a good 5 or so days before it was open and selling gingerbread. WL decorations went up overnight around the same time - again - the resort could let you know the exact timetable for that as well if nobody has an answer (or if you are too impatient to wait).

I concur with the above, was there in 2012, and on Nov 14th is was under construction. Not sure how many days in or left from that day.

Construction of the Mary Blair inspired gingerbread house at the Contemporary started this past weekend and the cast members working on it said it would take about a week to complete.

I call the GF up and they have no information about it currently. The person that I spoke with said that it was a week before Thanksgiving when they started last year.

I was there this morning for breakfast a 1900 Park Fare . The house is up but there is no gingerbread on it yet. Not sure how long it takes to complete but that is the stage they are at now. :cat:
