Hey, I vaugly remember being at a Ghostbusters show when I was little. It had four guys in the costumes with the packs and a screen in front or behind them where the ghosts were projected on. Does anyone know if this was in Disney World or Universal. Does anyone know anything about this show?

There was also a show outside that building featuring the Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice.

Yep, I remember that one. It was there last year, but I heard that the contract ran out and they weren't doing it this year. Is this some false info. Has anyone seen it there in the past couple months?

I remember that Ghostbusters show. It was pretty funny. Been gone a long time sadly :(

Do they still do the Beetlejuice stage show? It's been a long time since I've been to universal.

They do a rock n roll music show with all of the classic Universal Monsters. Beetlejuice leads the whole thing and is hilarious. Definitely not humor you'd find in a Disney park, however.

The Ghostbusters/Beetlejuice show took place on the steps of New York Library and was called Great Fright Way. They weren't the classc Ghostbusters, but the Extreme Ghostbusters from the short-lived Saturday morning cartoon. However, all it was was lip-synching and dancing, but it was very amusing.

Beetlejuice's Graveyard Review still plays in the Parthanon across from Richter's. The original show was updated a couple a years ago to imitate the Japanese version, adding two new characters, Hip and Hop. I don't think it's as good, but Dracula's "Livin' La Vida Loca" is pretty entertaining.

Heading for the great escape.
I clearly remember walking into the show at Universal, around 94, but I can remember absoloutely nothing about it. It must have made an impression. :veryconfu . Beetlejuice is good, but then I like f@rt jokes, immature but hey. :)

Ghostbusters show was awesome...then, in true Universal fashion, as something is getting revived (ie Ghostbusters and King Kong) they remove the ride/attraction (ie. Ghostbusters and King Kong).

I saw a few clips from the Bettlejuice and Ghostbusters show thing with the extreme ghostbusters and one from the distant past with the real ghostbusters...*sighs* the former was as bad as "Haunted Mansion" was to the ride-unfunny, ridiculus, and boring.

oh well...

The closing of Ghostbusters at Universal was a mistake - it was the beginning of the demise of the park as its replacement (Twister) is a waste

The Ace Ventura attraction was on the old "New York Street" area. I think he climbed up or down the building to get a bird or something.

Also, Ghostbusters was much better than Twister.

i agree whole heatedly. My sister went on Twister and raved how great it was but when I rode it I came off of it the same way i came off of SGE: "You're kidding me right?"

I'm not a very big person. by any means. And the twister was small than i was. nothing was to scale at all, very very lame.

Now if i was universal, I would have made the queue the ride. that had my interest 10x more than the actual "ride".
