As my trip is at the same time as this person's, I too was worried when all the hurricane fuss was happening. I now know everything will be fine, but one certainly can't blame a less experienced disney guest for worrying about the trip they spent thousands of dollars on

I know this message is a little late to the party. But it's important to note that if the storm did a 360, then it would be going in the same direction as before. If it reversed its course, then it would be doing a 180.

we drove back yesterday, taking I95 north all the way back to NJ. experienced no issues, except seeing lots of trees still down mostly in the carolinas & some torn or knocked over billboards.

It was the tone ("enough damage that MY trip will be ruined" - when if by some chance that much damage occurred, many deaths would have as well), mostly, as well as the fact they thought they had to create a special snowflake thread just for them instead of just asking (if they had to ask such a stupid question) in the existing threads. (Note, this was originally posted in the News forum).

I stand by my post, LOL.

I think the OP should be read more as "what are the odds the hurricane hits WDW hard enough my trip at the end of the month will be ruined". I.e., causes park closures, or water park cIosures, or gushing winds, or uncomfortable wind and rain.
