i am waiting to close at ssr in march. i wanted to go to disney in may- am i gonna get reservations anywhere or am i gonna get shut out? i read the posts about waiting list and it seems everyone is on one. do you ever just get to make a direct reservation?

Making a reservation just 2 months in advance could be difficult. Rooms not reserved by DVC members can be made available to CRO for cash ressies at the 60-day mark.

As I mentioned in another post, while I wouldn't make any promises or give you too much false hope, SSR and OKW, by virtue of their immense size AND relative distance from any of the parks, make them the least likely resorts to get sold out. They're the resorts that tend to still have rooms available when all others are booked solid.
