Hiya Pals!
What's the most convenient way to get to Epcot from the WL? Should we just bus it or should we take a boat to MK and then ride the monorail? This is for our upcoming trip in August!

I think you switched up the monorail and boat. You would have to take the monorail from Epcot to MK and then take a boat from MK to WL.

The bus is probably your best option, in my opinion. It's the faster way, since it takes you straight to the resort without having to use different transportation. For a more scenic route, though, I'd take the monorail to MK and then ride the boat to WL.

Have a great trip!:)

Huh? Since when do the monorails only transport guest in one direction?

As far as my response to the OP... I personally would take the boat to monorail as I can not stand riding the WDW buses, but that is just my preference. If you do take the boat/monorail, I would give yourself a bit more travel time though as it will surely take longer.

This is all so helpful!! Thank you!! Do you think one will take excruciatingly longer than the other?
The bus would be quicker but I really enjoy the experience the boat launch provides. I find it quite relaxing and have actually just road it around on a rainy day before for about an hour reading a book.

Agree Boat to Monorail option with several boat options available and switch monorail at TTC from MK line to Epcot line.
Could boat to CR then Monorail to TTC to switch to Epcot monorail.
Could boat to MK then as above.
Could boat to MK then Ferry to TTC and catch Epcot monorail.
Could boat to MK then bus to Epcot (we think, least enjoyable)

Are the boats fairly consistent/quick to arrive?

In our experience, yes to both convenience and quick to arrive. Our kids were well behaved and enjoyed the view and nearby wildlife (ducks, birds, fish) while we waited briefly for the next launch.

The bus from WL to Epcot makes stops as well as the monorail will as well. We always stay at WL in August and will be back in a few weeks. :) We like to travel both ways to switch it up a bit. However if you are already at MK and looking to go to Epcot we always use the monorail.

^This. My father says one trip he is just going to take the boat back and forth from the WL to the MK all day. He loves it! It's his favorite part of a WDW vacation. :D Well, that and Soarin'.

Yep. When I retire from the real world, captaining one of those would be my dream job.
