Getting from DTD to MK

We are planning taking a bus from Epcot after lunch to POFQ to grab some beignets and have a walk around before taking the boat to DTD. We then want to get from DTD to MK for dinner reservations at BoG at 7:30. We were thinking leaving DTD at 6 would leave enough time? We were just going to get a bus, but with all the building work and traffic building up at that time of the early evening, would we be better taking a boat back to POFQ the a bus from there to MK? Thanks!!

Yes
For non-traffic impacted transportation the bus from POFQ to MK is just 11 minutes, the boat from the Springs to POFQ 17 (bus is 12)

For the evening hours it would be best to shy away from the Springs traffic so either Saratoga Springs or PO would be less impacted.

There is no direct bus to the MK from DTD. In light of all the traffic construction at DTD, your plan of leaving at 6 pm, taking the boat back to POFQ and then the bus to MK from there is a good one.

Thanks all. Think we'll take whichever monorail resort bus comes first then walk from Contemp or monorail from the others. Thanks so much. Love that I can get such specific questions answered and arrive at a better solution than I would have thought of.:happy::happy:

When I use to stay at the Contemporary their bus to and from Downtown Disney would share with the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Back then the Contemporary was the 1st stop, Polynesian was the 2nd stop and Grand Floridian was the 3rd stop. However today I think some days the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge share a DTD bus, so that means the Polynesian and Grand Floridian share the other one. Although I have also seen the Contemporary and Polynesian share a DTD bus, so you never know what it will be.
