Getting around WDW

OK, I understand that there are all types of transportation designed to get people around the complex. We are going to be staying at the Pop Century, BUT we are going to need to get over to Shades of Green to pick up military tickets for both Universal IOA and Kennedy Space Center.

I notice, on a map, that there seems to be a monorail that goes from Epcot to the Transportation Center. Shades of Green *appears* to be right near there -- um, is it???? I was thinking that maybe on our first day, planned for Epcot, we could hop the monorail and run over to Shades of Green to get the tickets from there.

Otherwise, how would we get from PopC to SoG? (We're going to Epcot on Monday of our trip, UnivIOA Tuesday, Animal Kingdom on Weds., and then wrap up the MK and DHS on Thursday before heading for Space Coast and points north on Friday.)

Help, please????

According to Allears.net, you can go to the Polynesian and walk the path to Shades of Green and be there in about 10 minutes.

If you are coming from Epcot, take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center, walk to the Polynesian, and then walk to Shades of Green. They are all fairly close to each other.

There should be plenty of signs - if in doubt, ask a Cast Member at the TTC or Polynesian.

Agreed, the path from the Polynesian isn't a bad walk at all. If you don't want to walk you can always get a bus to Shades of Green from the transportation center.

Hmmm...walk or catch a bus from the Transp Center. Maybe it will depend on how the feet and legs feel at the time.

SOG is an easy walk from the Poly. If you are at Epcot you would take the monorail to the TTC and then either walk to the Poly, switch to the resort monorail to the Poly or take the SOG bus. I'm not sure if you can get on the SOG bus without a SOG resort ID. From the MK take the monorail or a launch to the Poly. Any other parks or DTD, take a bus to the Poly. If you are standing in front of the Poly,facing the building, SOG is to your left. You will have to cross Floridian Way, which can be busy at times.
