Getting a lane at Splitsville?

Noting their are only 30 lanes at Spltisville, one would assume it is hard to get a lane. Is this the case? Whats the normal time to wait for a lane..my wife and I are having a date night on a Wednesday and were thinking of adding this to our plans, but we don't want to have to wait all evening either

We were there the other night and it was roughly 20 min wait at 7:30. We didn't end up bowling as our children were tired after a long day. The food was pretty good but the service was slow and a bit hap hazard. Also we were sat next to the billiard tables upstairs which wasn't ideal for smallish children as the young guys playing were rather loud.

I know Wed nights are DVC nights there so getting a lane might be harder or longer wait. I am a DVC member and that is the member night every week. I would maybe try another night just in case if you can. I don't know how popular it is with DVC members but it could make it harder to get a lane on wed. nights.

We will be leaving our smallish (and not so smallish) children with their Aunt and cousins...this wont be an issue

Afternoons I've never had a wait, most evenings are not bad at all. Only time I've had to wait was on a Saturday night in which we ended up just going to the bar upstairs lol
