I'm sorry, but this is the kind of stuff Disney needs to start coming up with more. Visually awesome, creative and fun.

I’m sorry, but I dealt with 4 HS years of D&D freaks…I have to deal with SW fans “role playing” @ HWD…I don’t want parks full of D&D people…great concept (in theory), but if Disney won’t even allow its guests to dress in Disney attire, something else? I’ll pass…but YMMV.
Crucify or kill me if you must, but NOPE…

I think a few nights one period of a year would be fun. I understand that this is the Hollywood Universal location and it might need a few more special things to pack them in, but I like the idea of something like this so immersive as opposed to cosplay Darth Vader handing out cupcakes.

Having watched fan videos of these fan nights(also back to the future stuff), I think maybe instead of pouring money into new rides all the time they need to bring in love actors and shows...people love this stuff.

Just to make sure I'm reading this correctly. This is what Disney needs more of?

If conniption fits were had by parents over Alien Encounter, the spiders/webs in HM, the original castle walkthrough in Tokyo, and the Alien scene in GMR... I can't begin to imagine the uproar if Disney were to add something like this.

Just check this out and say it doesn't give the old MGM studios feel...

Not a D&D freak, but absolutely loved Honor Among Thieves by Hasbro. They had thought of making a sequel but they haven't figured out how to make one cheaper. Visited Alnwick Castle in Scotland years ago where they filmed the movie along with the quidditch scenes from Harry Potter etc. I was really taken aback when the owners of the house, the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland came up and shook my hand when I visited. It was so surreal. They were oh so very wonderful! The castle was so amazing! It was back in the day also when it was so much easier to gain frequent flier points than it is now. I ended up flying Business to London/back with a 5 course meal! :

I think you guys are missing the point of the thread? I don't believe @Club Cooloholic meant Disney should carbon-copy the D&D exhibit from Universal's Fanfest, or even do their own version. Just that Disney Parks should step up the creativity on limited-timed events and spaces, add something NEW to the parks that is otherwise not represented anywhere else, turn the spaces into immersive experiences and not just merch shops with a rare Meet & Greet opportunity. D&D is not the focus here, but the creativity, thought, and effort that went into a pop-up event.

Thank you. Disney has cut back on steetmasphere with various performing groups. I think these videos show that there is a place for live actor entertainment. Most of the videos that pop up in my feeds that are Disney related are the storm trooper actor interactions that take place at the Studios. Why? Because they are unique and you never know what the interaction will bring. But not everyone is a Star Wars fan so do more of this with other properties. Maybe even have different nights where you focus on those IPs if you don't think it's worth having around year round.
