Geo - something

I'm drawing a blank here...what do you call it when someone hides something in a specific location, then leaves clues for others to look for it? Isn't it geo-something? I've read about this at WDW before, and we're curious about maybe trying it in August. Thanks.

It's called geocaching. The only kind of "formal" geocaching allowed on Disney property is virtual caches. Also if you go to the general information forum on here and do a search there, you'll find lots of info on it. I've seen many threads on it there. The official website for geocaching is http://www.geocaching.com

Have fun!

I am not sure geocaching is the right term for this. Geocaching is used with GPS units to find specific items that are left behind and came out of the entire craze of people exploring the world via GPS.

The OP specifically asked about "geo-something", based upon that I would venture a guess that geocaching is the term they were looking for.
