Generic Glass Standalone DVC Tower at WDW

Not sure if I dreamed this or it was a legitimate rumor at one point. I seem to remember a rumor of new standalone DVC tower, maybe in the highlighted area below? The concept art I recall was this sort of generic glass tower. Really boring, and I remember thinking “why would anyone want to buy into that, in that location?” sort of thing. I also remember thinking it would be an eye sore from World Drive. Does anyone else recall this?

I don’t remember anything like that. Was it recently? Like in the last 5 years?

Reflections, a Disney Lakeside Lodge, a Disney Vacation Club Resort (its real name) was at one point planned for the space between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge but that was scrapped. It was mostly covered in glass but then had balconies.

A hotel with a nearly all glass exterior, Swan Reserve, went up in the Epcot Resort area a couple of years ago. It’s surprisingly unnoticeable and unremarkable.

Other than that I can’t think of anything. I don’t think the land you highlighted is currently considered to be buildable.

It is entirely possible I am making this up. Just some distant memory I have at this point. This was closest thing I could find while searching, obviously not in the same location.

I know it wasn’t Reflections and it would have been sort of similar to Swan Reserve but definitely in a different spot.

Seems like it was a dream!!
