Generation Gap Bridge

Does anyone know if you can now walk between Pop Century and Art of Animation over this bridge or is it still blocked off? Also has it been rethemed at all? as the theme no longer fits.

I thought I read somewhere on here that someone did walk between the two, but I have no idea where. Don't go by my words, though. Hopefully someone will come along and confirm this.

I know some people have said they walked over the bridge in trip reports.

I was there in August, staying at Pop.

I walked over the bridge many times, toured AOA, used the AOA busses to get home sometimes, and ate at their food court often (it is better than Pops in my opinion).

The bridge is indeed open.

On the AoA side, they have stripped all the "century" stuff off it. It now has murals themed to the various parts of the resort. It is quite pretty for a Value resort.

I just got back to my room at Pop about 20 minutes ago after strolling over to AoA for a bit of shopping

Ditto for us in November. Great photo ops throughout. Kinda disappointing having to go back to POP each time. Boy, does POP need some attention now, especially compared to its sparkling sister just across the bridge.
