I think they gave up on trying to keep the actors quiet somewhere around the time Infinity War came out and they had Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland in the same movie.

I think they’re wanting to juice any and all hype for this movie they can given the current state of the franchise, so they’re more than happy to waft off of the 20thCF/Deadpool nostalgia.
