2003: Plans are made to revive Epcot's Future World in what is called Project Gemini.

Plans include:
Future World to be renamed "Discoveryland".

Spaceship Earth - a rollercoaster called "Time Racers" sponsored by Microsoft, with post show sponsored by AT&T. The pavilion races you through different time periods.

Innoventions - split into six parts for two restaurants, two shops, and two exhibits.

Universe of Energy - Intact.

Mission: Space - Intact.

Test Track - Intact. Features a Jr. Autopia at the exterior.

Wonders of Life - Updated attractions.

The Land - an outdoor hedge maze and rainforest rollercoaster, with a port of Soarin'.

The Living Seas - rethemed to "Under the Sea", a Little Mermaid themed pavilion.

Journey into Imagination - rethemed to Monsters, Inc.

The plans are set to be done by 2006. Walt Disney Imagineering starts work on Project Gemini.

This is what we're focusing on.

Alright then, the land’s coaster should be a suspended coaster similar to Arthur at Europa Park, but maybe JIT Monsters Inc could be an interactive dark ride (or a trackless ride), Living Seas should get a Turtle Talk equivalent, and I think Innoventions‘ exhibits should be swapped out every six months

Can you expand on the concepts for the Land, Monsters Inc., and Under the Sea?

Land coaster is a suspended powered family coaster that swings through the trees, Monsters Inc is an interactive dark ride based on the attraction in Tokyo Disneyland, and Under the Sea would be similar to the attraction in Magic Kingdom/Disneyland (I like to keep things brief, plus I’m not in the mood to come up with stuff by myself, Idk why I even decided to post in this thread anyways if I didn‘t have that many ideas at the current moment, it’s been a long day)

2003: The first update on the Gemini project is shown on a Disney news site, and shows new, more detailed descriptions on the rides at Discoveryland.

"Discoveryland promises to be an updated look at the world of tomorrow, while your favorite Disney friends go along for the ride!"

Time Racers (sponsored by Microsoft) - Take a mad dash through time as your speed through different eras, evading obstacles along the way!

Innoventions - 6 separate buildings show futuristic feats such as a House of the Future, and a Robotic Restaurant with robot battles every day.

Test Track: Calming Drive - If you're not daring enough to go behind the wheel at Test Track, Calming Drive is safe for kids and is less high stakes.

Wonders of Life - Celebrate the Joy of Life with new attractions such as Body Tours (Hosted by Randy Redblood), Goofier about Health (an all new Goofy short!), Cranium Command, and Germfighters (simulator ride)

The Land - see new attractions such as Soarin', Forest Fliers, an inverted rollercoaster through the rainforest, and Tipping the Hedge, a hedge maze through nature.

Under the Sea - visit Ariel and her fishy friends as you enter Triton's kingdom, where you can learn about the fragile world of water, and talk to Ariel and Flounder themselves!

Monsters, Inc. ImagineLabs! - Take a ride through a child's imagination with hosts Mike and Sulley, and watch out for Randall, who just hitched a ride!

By 2006, we plan to bring the world of the future to the comforts of this century!

Hmmm… most of these sound lame and corporate, more like Chapek than anything else. I do have suggestions and critique, so don’t take them too badly:

1. Why did you take the edge off of Body Wars? While yes the new one does feel more whimsical and classic, edgier attractions give parks variety and may allow us to stand up to Universal Studios. If you want to indeed soften Body Wars into Body Tours, maybe add a new edgy attraction to make up for it?

2. I feel like Calming Drive would be more worthwhile if you added the World of Motion narrative and characters to it for riders to appreciate in addition to all the driving.

3. What will happen to the Magic Eye Theater?

4. I have some ideas to make Mission: SPACE more epic and fantastical.

1. I added a new simulator ride called Germfighters.

2. I agree.

3. It becomes a Monsters, Inc. Invention showcase.

4. Let's hear it.

I suppose that the new Mission Space becomes the new home of Dreamfinder and Figment, them being hired into the space project to see how they can imagine themselves braving the open frontiers of space. They’re most prominently shown in the pre-show of the ride, demonstrating the ride systems.
