Yes, the MK is crowded that day. Is it a bad place to go? No. As one person stated earlier, yes there might be some unappropiate behavior, but that is the exception, not the rule. I've seen quite a few people involved in unappropiate behavior at other times in the parks as well. And they weren't gay either.
The media and certain fanatical religious zealots would have you believe that the MK turns into this horrible drug crazed den of iniquity (sp?). :fork:
What it really becomes is a place where for one day, people who are gay can hold hands with their partner in public and not be ridiculed or snickered at. It's a place where people don't need to hide. I'm not advocating people going out and doing things that would be better left for the bedroom, but doing normal things that you would see any heterosexual couple do on a normal day.
If this isn't your cup of tea, this is a free country and you don't have to be a part of it and that is fine. But we are all human beings, whether we be white, black, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, gay, straight, handicapped, or whatever and we all deserve the right to live our lives as our own as long as it doesn't take away this right from someone else.
For people who have vacations planned for this time, I hope you don't change those plans because it is Gay Days. I hope that makes you even more eager to come because for that day, Disney World truly is the happiest place on earth....for everyone.
