I was in tthe Beach Club Villas last summer and I saw at least a 6' gator in the water behind the pool. I called the front desk and they told me "Oh ya he lives in there, and he can't get out so don't worry." after that I went there everyday to see it. It was really strange.

Gators are so common in Florida that really it's not that big of a deal to see them in any of the lakes or canals all over the state. If you drive down to everglades national park they literally walk right next you. Hundreds of them all over the place. Plus because of there status as (actually I think they might have been taken off the status) endagered species. Gator hunting and all using types of contact and using there skin for leather and stuff has been illegal so the population of the gators has soared and we Floridians have over developed our land to the point that we praticlly sit on the gators front yard. But rarely do you ever here about gator attacks. Wildlife rescue service has a plenty of calls weekly to remove gators from peoples pools. Especially during the dry season were gators try to find gator holes (pools of water) were they can feed till the next wet season. I think there is a higher risk of shark attacks in florida than gator attacks. So you shouldn't be the least bit scared. Would have been funny though durin the time that people were allowed to swim in the 7 sea lagoon to have gators present! Or what if a live gator were to get in the waters for the jungle cruise?

i have seen a gator on 2 occasions at the MK.

once near tom sawyer island and another time still around TSL but closer to the haunted mansion side.

the first time there was a cast member watching it to make sure people were not feeding it. the scond one was smaller and not many people noticed it

I've seen a 4 to 5ft gator in the water by Everest.

I just happen to have a picture of an alligator in that area. He's actually right by the Flame Tree seating area closest to the water. I must confess, I don't know how to post pictures. Help, anyone?

This little beauty was off the defunct boat dock across from the bird show at AK.
