Gator sightings anyone?

I haven't noticed any gators but when we went to Blizzard Beach last April two snakes got in the lazy river with us. Needless to say we got out at the very next entry point.

I agree with you for the most part, MKT, but it's this part:

Gators will very rarely bother a human, but when they do, it's usually something the human did to warrant it.

..that I think (ASSume?) worries Disney. They can barely protect the public from itsself on their rides, they have even less control over the public's interactions with the wildlife in their parks. Imagine the lawsuits they'd see ~IF~ a gator where to attack a guest (even if that guest deserved it :animwink: )

I'm not trying to pick a fight with you (Please know that!). I don't even disagree with you, really - I think it's VERY cool to see gators around WDW. I just think that Disney might see them as more of a nuisance than you do because of the potential safety/legal/MONEY(!) issues involved.
But it is sad that no one seems to have seen them around TSI lately...

(And now I will try to stop antagonizing you.... )

There so much wonderful wildlife around the parks! Ducks, rabbits, gators! But really...the baby ducks in spring are the best! They are so cute!

Yup! The gators love them too. Taste like chicken.

Exactly, it seems they go bonkers in spring early summer when the d__________gs are hatched. The gators have some easy pickings there. Gotta find my pics of them from last June.
