Gastons Tavern Bob Iger Reference?

I was recently in the Magic Kingdom. I went to Gastons Tavern for Lefous Brew and saw on the last register on the left. On the back wall there are barrels. On closer inspection there were two barrels that stood out to me. One I'm pretty sure said IgerBock. The other barrel said Staggs Beer. Both I'm sure were references to Tom Staggs and Bob Iger.
It's possible I was hallucinating but I'm pretty sure that's what they said. Can anybody back me up.

Not sure if this always happens for these higher ups, but for some reason it kind of makes me mad that they did this. With the state of the parks and lack of anything major happening, there might be bigger things to think about. I feel like either some "brown noser" thought this would be a good idea to get some brownie points, or Iger and Staggs actually thought this would be cute and they could put their mark on this area.

You don't see them putting their name all over stuff that is broken or that they let fall into disrepair.

Thanks...that's...excessive...this type of thing is usually much more subtle.

Yeah, it's not subtle at all...very noticeable and prominent in the store.

The Holmes picture is pretty sickening actually. It's one thing to have a small, very subtle nod to Imagineers or others who have made noticeable accomplishments. The Iger and Staggs beer barrels wouldn't be noticed b y anyone but rabid Disney fans or others looking at the small details. But to have a giant painting of yourself put in the store, while you are still VP of the park... it is the ultimate in narcissism.

Maybe they should. I was about to make a witty comment about where they could put their names, but there are so many things in disrepair across WDW, I didn't know where to begin, sadly.

I think many would agree that Holmes should put his name in the bottom of the toilet bowls at the new Tangled Toilets. That would help many of us to express our feelings toward his treatment of everything except HM and HoP.

I believe many of the other references this is being compared to is pretty much a name of someone or something close to their name posted on something. Seems this falls within those lines so I don't consider this excessive.

I believe they add these things as they build them or maybe during a major refurb, not later on so I am don't see why they would ever put these on things that have already been built or did not get a refurb (therefore it is not broken)

It's usually someone's name used cleverly (e.g. a business name or their name on a tombstone). A portrait of Phil is just a whole different level...
