identical to what is served at the bakery on main street usa. they are probably trying to figure out how to get them as warm and gooey as what is served in the bakery. hopefully the learning curve is almost past.

Happy Birthday! You caught up with me (60 last April) - welcome to the old fogey club .

Have not tried the roll - but my gut tells me the MSB roll is probabably better quality .

Please.We are not old fogeys,just older children,that's all.

I was a bit disappointed in the cinnamon roll. Granted, it was during cast previews so they might have been off but it was served barely Luke warm, was mostly bread, with little filling or icing. It was ok, but not great. It looked like a roll from Main Street mostly though, minus the piping hot melted goodness. It was like day old rolls from the bakery being microwaved and given out. This was niether cinamonny, hot, or gooey. I'm not a super big fan of the ones on Main Street either, but those are at least 2-3 times better than what I was served. Wasn't terribly fond of leFou's brew either, but I could foresee at least getting that again if I was in the right mood.

agreed. I was disappointed as well. I am like um i though i ordered a cinnemon roll lol. I also agree that things may be different since i went during previews . Also the brew was wayyyyy to sweet.

We were at WDW December 7th through the 16th and went to Gaston's Tavern while we were there. The cinnamon rolls are literally the size (and shape) of a mini loaf pan for bread. They are delicious and warm and gooey with an incredible caramel topping. It's a must have!

Good Morning Everyone.Now not only is today my 60th birthday, but this is my 5000 thread, So to my question.Has anyone tried the famous above roll from Gaston's and how would you rate it? Todays Disney food blog says it might be even bigger than the Main Street bakery surely not,over to you lucky people who have had the chance to find out.

Happy birthday 60 years young at heart.Haven't gotten them yet but they look yummy!

I did have one..... along with a Pork Shank and a Apple Brew... in fact we went back 3 times in a week. My girls did not like the roll as much as Main street but the PS made up for it... Definitely my new MK addiction.
