Garden grill any good?

Thought we would try it in December. Is it good or should I ditch it for another EPCOT restaurant. We have tried most but haven't done GG yet.

It is fair food. But I would opt for other restaurants first.

If find it to be hit or miss.

It is by no means fine dining, but when it is "hit" it is good soild food. When it is "miss" it is not worth it- not bad, but really not worth it.

It does have good character interaction, if that makes a difference to you. And food does taste better when you are rotating.

Coral Reef is one of the few WDW restaruants I have not eaten at - sorry.

Coral Reef and Garden Grill are both good.

Garden Grill is more home cooking. Turkey, Roast Beef & Fish. Good but nothing Fancy.

Coral Reef is seafood with some other options. More of an upscale menu.

I like both.

During our last trip, Garden Grill was probably our favorite meal. The food was good, the character interaction was fantastic, and the service was great. We had heard mixed reviews, but we were very pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. The food isn't gourmet, but it was well-prepared and fresh. I especially enjoyed the turkey, stuffing, and the sweet potato fries from the kids' menu.

Had both within the last year and thought both were great. I would go back to either of them again.

Read reviews that Coral Reef had a bad rep but I was pleasantly surprised. Garden Grill was a favorite also. Really liked the family style setup, getting to choose which items you wanted more of was great.

I LOVED Garden Grill. The food was great, the characters were amazing and the views of living with the land were fun.

@OswaldTheRabbit I have been to the cr a few times. It is a great atmosphere. The food is alright and I love practically any kind of seafood. It is something I would suggest someone to do at least once. Have fun trying to decide!!!!

I'll let you guys know when we get back. We have 2 (week long) trips coming up and will have lots of feedback! Different restaurants for each trip!
