We just booked our second cruise! Port 12 hours from home couldn't resist! We sailed on the Fantasy first time around. Please tell me I won't be disappointed with the wonder? Any tips on this itenerary and ship would be greatly appreciated. What's the weather like in November?

Pre-refurb Magic and Fantasy. Actually prefer Magic. Interested to see it since refurb. If Wonder is anything like Magic was, we think you will love it.

Don't go expecting the Wonder to be the Fantasy. The smaller size, to me, lends a more intimate, relaxed overall experience....an experience we prefer to the larger ships. The Wonder is perfectly elegant in its classic ocean liner feel. The crew and fellow guests will all get familiar with each other which makes you feel like family before the cruise is over. You'll enjoy it.

What itinerary are you on?

Are you asking about weather in Galveston in November or your ports? I live about 30 minutes from Galveston so I can tell you the weather there is a mixed bag, not unlike WDW weather in November. We can have anything from warm or comfortable to chilly or hot. I usually still wear my flip flops into November. ;) As for your ports, I don't know where you're sailing so I can't say. What I do to research that info is Google the city + month + "average temperature". Usually that brings responses that will give you the answer. ;)

We're excited about Disney's return to Galveston, too. It was so nice to sail from "home" when they were here before. :)

We are sailing Nassau, key west and castaway cay. We were rained out at castaway cay the first time so I am hoping for some sunshine! We are downgrading to an inside stateroom from a verandah but I'm just happy to be sailing again!
