FYI - I called to make our ADR's this morning and Disney is not yet taking reservation for Be Our Guest yet. The CM I spoke to, Heather, said they don't have any other information other than it will be "open for the holidays" and to keep checking the blog for more upcoming info.

On another note, I sometimes can't believe that some people don't make their ADR's 180 out since I called promptly at 7 am and got online simultaneously and STILL couldn't get all the exact times we were hoping for! I mean not bad we got all the times we wanted within a half hour but still, I got online right at 7!

delay

This will cause delays for others trying to make regular reservations by having everyone "call everyday to check"...

We're planning a trip to Disneyland and DCA for 2013...they don't take reservations until 60 days out. I honestly think that's a better timeframe since there are many people who make reservations 180 days out that utilimately cancel their reservations due to "change in plans". I feel 60 days out will give you a better "commitment" for the reservation. I know Disneyland and DCA don't have as many restaurant selections, but it just seems crazy 6 months out...believe me I'm one of the crazy people on the phone at 7 am 180th day...those who fail to plan...plan to fail.

At least the CMs give consistent information. When I called yesterday to add an extra day onto our park passes, I asked the CM about Be Our Guest. I was told the same thing. Hopefully as the time gets closer, they'll make an announcement regarding the day they'll start taking reservations.

You aren't the only one doing this... someone else here was on at 7 and that was 3am where she lives! I don't have the dining plan and don't actually go to the sit down dinners anymore (I've done most of them in the past) but, I found planning my day around dining annoying. So, now I just do quick serve based on where I am and what I'm doing. I find it more relaxing. I WILL be making a reservation for Be Our Guest because I'm dying to see it. Other than that, I'll be reservation free.

I was actually told the restaurant will be open by the end of October beginning of November this morning when I asked about it. That is so strange. I will definitely be there when we can book.

I'm hoping for our Christmas trip we can get in!:xmas: I just made our Thanksgiving day ADRs, and like you mentioned earlier, I was on the phone at 7 am and although I got everywhere I wanted, the times were a little off.

When we go to WDW we go for it all - theme parks, attractions, rides and food. My entire family enjoys eating there and have had some amazing meals (California Grill really stands out) and we each pick a favorite restaurant to go back to. Plus, sometimes it's great to just kick back and relax at a meal.
