FW Golf cart questions

Couple of questions regarding the FW golf carts...

How is parking? Can you always find parking at the pools, boat launch, stores, bus stops? Can you just park them anywhere? Also, I assume if parking at the bus stops it is acceptable to leave them there all day?

How are they charged? Do you plug them in each night at your cabin/camp site?

I suspect this is a strech, but can you drive them all the way to Wilderness Lodge?

We just returned from a week at FW a week ago. Had a great time there while staying in the cabins. We rented a golf cart and hopefully I can answer your questions.

Parking is no problem. There is plenty of parking at the marina, stores and the Trails End restaurant. No problem leaving the carts in these locations for a long period of time. All of these locations have outlets in order to charge the carts. There is parking at the pools and stores but these do not have outlets. There is no golf cart parking at the internal bus stops - really no need to drive to these. Drive to the external bus stop at the front of the campground. There is plenty of parking here with outlets.

Each cabin has an external outlet to plug the cart in at night. There is also plenty of parking at the cabins. We had enough room to park both the cart and our rental car.

No - you cannot drive them to the Wilderness Lodge. Take the boat, it is nice ride and not all that long.

When we used golf carts there was always plenty of parking. We parked ours right outside of our cabin, where there is a plug for them. And there is a dedicated parking area by each of the bus stops in FW, with lots of spaces with electrical outlets. There was never a problem keeping them charged. And they're waiting for you when you get back from the parks. The only thing that takes a little planning is that there are 2 bus stops, one on each end of the park, and the busses at each stop go to different places. So if you start the day at one park and end the day at a different one, you MAY end up at the wrong bus stop within FW, with your golf cart on the other end of the resort. Just find out which bus stop is for which parks and you won't run into that problem.

Don't know about the WL question, but I'm sure someone else will...We always just parked our golf cart near the ferry boat and took the boat to WL or MK or CR or wherever else we were going...

The golf carts were KEY to our good time at FW cabins...
