Futuroscope?

A French friend of mine living in the states was telling me a bit about Futuroscope park in western France. She worked there a few decades ago. I was curious - has anyone on this board been there? By description it kinda looks like the opposite of DLP in terms of attractions.

Yes, we loved it. There was one section in the middle of the park with rides you powered yourself, and just the other day my daughter was telling me about a dream she had the night before and described exactly this part of the park; I think we were there about 10 years ago!

I’ve always wanted to go back but it is “off the beaten path” for us. We talked about going to the west coast of France next summer; I’ll have to see if detouring via the autoroute that goes there makes any sense.

Futuroscope and puy du fou have gone through massive expansion over the years and pull significant attendance but are largely ignored by major vloggers and influencers from America even though they should be major international attractions at this point.
