We was thinking, and i do apologize, if this has been brought up before....

Me and my boyfriend were wondering if in the future, there will be a new park at WDW?? and what the name and theme would be if there was??

I think what triggered it off was we were watching Peter Pan, an when Peter fly's to Neverland, and you have the view of the place, I thought that would be a great idea for a new park?? He was abit against what i said because he thought that if you had a theme park like Neverland it would have to be all themed like Peter Pan? (which is a good point). We then got on to the topic an it was real good fun.

Does anyone have any Ideas? or know if this is even going to happen in the future?:lookaroun

In it's own time there will be a new park, but no one knows when. It ma be in the next 5 years, or the next 20 years, you just can't tell. Welcome to the boards!

When we had our lunch w/an Imagineer a little over a week ago one of my fellow guests and I asked about a bunch of the rumors that float around. One of those was the possibility of a 5th park.

The response was that there has been some talk of another park but nothing really imminent. He asked us if we knew what Discovery Cove was (which we all did) and said that he wouldn't be at all surprised to see Disney bring an experience that is very hands-on in a Discovery Cove way for the next park. Not necessarily ocean or animal themed, just something that hands-on and involved. Does that make sense?

I've always pictured Disney doing a Sea World type of park at some point. Maybe as an addition to Animal Kingdom.

Does anyone know how much land Disney has left to develop?

There are still rumors around a "Night Kingdom" park with more adventure activities for adults, with limited access similar to Discovery Cove and being about $300 a night.
