Magic Kingdom should bring back their Tomorrowland Tip Board...it sure is nice having a whole bunch of little ones (in addition to the main one) over at IOA...

The area of intent is the pair of planters flanking the walkway/bridge that leads into The Land.

Because they want to place it on one side (I think the left) and there is already a directional sign there, so they have to relocate that sign to the adjacent planter (across the walkway).

So, it's either going up on the left (i think) or the right and the signs that's already there (which i can't recall if it's on the left or the right) will be moved to the other side.

Those tip boards come in handy. I didn't have to walk all the way to Test Track just to find out the wait times for the attraction. I think that Magic Kingdom could use a few LCD tipboards.

Now they need to get some text messages going for when you are nowhere near the board. You could send a text to WDWTIPS with your requested park and get back the data from the tip board. Hmmm, why not? Wouldn't that be nice?

That would be really neat. I would love to texting used in good way like that.

That's actually a very good idea, I would probably use it.

The original forms stated "Fabrication and installation of a "themed" LED Electronic Message Display Board, in the planter on the West side of Future World at Epcot, near the entrance ramp of the Land Pavilion. Relocation of existing information sign to adjacent planter."

It never said Tipboard, which the new paperwork does. Back then we weren't sure what the display board would be used for.
